Needing a quick easy outfit¬†to throw on, is comfortable, looks good and is completely effortless? Here it is. I can vouch for this great jumper too, I have it in Navy and its divine, I would wear it nearly everyday if I didn’t want to wear it out ūüėČSlide1

Spring Transitions

Casual Comforts is how Im feeling right now. ¬†The temps should be warming up later in the week, and gradually more so as April inconspicuously springs it’s pretty self upon us, but as we transition across to Spring it’s difficult to start breaking out into skirts without tights, short sleeves and god forbid we need to get those winter feet out into sandals! This outfit will keep you at the perfect temp, has the right amount of ventilation without showing any skin but still looking stylish and slightly sexy in a comfortable manner, no?! I love the flattering jeans with the wide weaved knit which has a lowish V-back. You will be hitting the ground running in the style steaks with these open sided shoes which are bang on trend, again feeling less wintery but without really putting the white feet on show completely! Grab your hand held clutch and a chunky ring and you’re looking ever so covetable. ¬†Remember feeling comfortable is the key to looking confident and good. ¬†It’s my pleasure!

50 Shades of Blue

Denim is branching out into bags, shoes, belts and more. This is not the first time we’ve seen denim heels on the streets but I guess each time the trend reappears the actual denim jeans that we are sporting are themselves in a different phase. There’s a lot trending in the way of denim at the moment and if you are enjoying your skinnies, boyfriends, girlfriends, ripped or even flared then you’re spot on. The great thing about the large variety of styles trending right now is that it’s difficult to get bored of wearing your jeans when we can mix them up so, a different style for each day of the week!
I’m looking for a great pair of white jeans at the moment. Now I don’t know about you but I personally feel that unless you have the skinniest of pins, with a gap the length of a small ruler between your thighs and a perkier butt than Gisele, the White skinnies should be left for the runway. So I’ve started perusing the girlfriend line of jean… this is not too baggy and not a straight leg either, maybe it’s neither here nor there but what I’ve tried I have liked ūüôā and the pair I’m probably going to put my money on is this¬†Current/Elliot pair.

Some denim items to covet now are endless but for now make sure to get yourselves one, some, or all of the following:
A denim jacket J Crew
A denim dress Stella McCartney (currently looking for a cheaper version of this beauty)
Denim dungarees Zara
A denim skirt Net-a-Porter
A great pair of ripped, girlfriend or boyfriend or 70’s flares (for the more adventurous) Some faves: Straight Leg¬†J Crew¬†// Flip flop Flares Current/Elliot¬†// Patch work boyfriend¬†¬†J Crew¬†// Ripped Zara¬†// Skinny Maternity J Brand
And if you’re feeling up to it, a denim play suit Mango

I leave you with some Looks to Love below.

You go off and have a rethink about this reputable blue cloth now! ūüėČ

We’re back in London after our lovely long vacation in South Africa and I am slightly regretting my choice to come back this early, two kiddies in this freezing weather is not easy! But there are positives; it’s good to be back home, woke up to pretty snow, the sun still shines here, looking forward to catching up with friends and so happy to be back with my hubby and being a family of four together for the first time in our home AND getting a routine going…. well that’s what I am hoping to achieve ūüėČ As I am sure with everyone holiday always brings bad habits with unhealthy eating, late nights and not much discipline but I was thinking it will all fall back into place when we get home. ¬†Just as I thought I was going to be so good with children’s meals, sleeping arrangements and TV, my first day I gave my toddler toast for breakfast and lunch and spaghetti hoops for supper…. my baby slept in my bed as I realised I had not ordered a new mattress for his cot before leaving for hols (all that mattered then was finding our summer clothes) BUT I am proud to say I managed to not switch the TV on for my toddler all day until 6pm, so some how I managed to keep him entertained all day without him asking to watch.

This year I hope to be back up and running as soon as possible with my personal styling, blogging and OOTD pics (as below) along with some other exciting projects on the horizon….

Follow me on Instagram and watch as my outfits and style develop over the next couple of months as I muddle through the beginnings of learning to juggle life with two kiddies rather than one. This is all I managed for today (see below) And stay tuned for weekly (hopefully) posts on fashion, interiors and lifestyle. I will be updating you all on the decorating project as well ūüėČ

Let the fun of 2015 begin!

Currently coveting‚Ķand can’t wait to get back into

I cannot wait to get back into normal¬†clothes again. I am so tired of wearing comfy pants and baggy tops and flat shoes and not buying anything because it’s a total waste! All I can do now is dream about what I want to wear when I hopefully get back to my old size (it could be a while still)

A beautiful skirt into the waist! I love this pleated leather skirt worn with a sexy pair of heels is a seriously covetable look this winter.

Boyfriend jeans always look better with a top tucked in slightly or something a little shorter, not very flattering with a preggie belly! Love the relaxed look.

For me a simple silk shirt and jeans was always a go to outfit that always looks smart without much effort, wearing these blouses again without looking like Im smuggling pillows would be great

But in the mean time I will have to stick to my black leggings, oversized shapeless tops, and slip on sneakers (which I do love I should add) I posted them a few weeks ag0 and after much interest on where I got them, they are Carvela (see below)
