I’ve been loving Mango lately as you may have noticed in many of my recent posts, everything is just gorgeous. Cuts, styles, fabrics, great proportions and all brilliantly styled, so I decided to do an all Mango feature. Their website styling is perfect and it also helps that they have the gorgeous Daria Werbowy back for their Summer campaign (see below in pictures)

Happy Weekend to you all
The clocks have gone back, the afternoon’s are lovely and long and the evenings are light. But it’s still early April so although it looks beautiful out of an evening it is still pretty chilly. I think we all get a bit carried away and cant wait to get the BBQ’s going and the tables laid outdoors for Alfresco dining and we probably even think it will be fine to go out with a sleeveless top, or even worse a dress and a little jacket. I know that if I’m cold I cant enjoy myself, I cant even have a conversation because I cant concentrate on what anybody is saying, all Im thinking about is how freezing I am. So at this time of year it would be wise to still wear trousers/jeans/tights AND a jacket. If you are hosting a dinner at home in the garden, be sure to put up plenty of lights for ambience , cosiness and sparkle. Check out my inspiration boards for eating out.

This weekend we will be attending a 1st Birthday party. This one is special because its good friends of ours little boy who is turning 1! And the best part is they have refreshingly chosen an adults venue rather than the usual in-door soft play. The venue is quite chic in Chelsea, London where all the trendy Londoners hang out. Sorry I should rephrase that to, some of the trendy Londoners, NOT all 😉
So the outfit has to look somewhat chic, but it is a kids birthday after all and I will most likely come away with chocolate cake all over me. I need to be comfy too, as I will spend most of the time running after my 21 month old son…
SO I am thinking something along the lines of below. A classic white silk tee with pocket detail. Jazz it up with a gold spiked necklace and white ring with gold small stud detail. Jeans are a must, I love these distressed Current/Elliot skinnies. Snearkers obviously for all the running around, these gold Ash ones below are so cute with extra pazazz. A simple but elegant black coat to throw on over top and we all need a scarf in this weather, this gorgeous leopard print with green and gold detail is divine and brings in a nice pop of colour to the outfit. I will carry a large black leather shopper for all the toddler paraphernalia that needs to be lugged with us.
