On The Run

So this post is relevant to everyone doing a fair amount of walking. A question that is quite frequently asked, and recently cropped up on the Saffa Moms network on Facebook, so I was going to call it Mums on the Run but then I thought it may deter the non-mummies out there so stuck to the given title! Thanks Robs Bennett Gibb for highlighting the need for a blog post 😉

So what is the question? “What shoes can I wear that I can do a lot of walking in, that will not wear out quickly and will support my feet, I wear a lot of ballet flats but these are not suitable or made for heavy wearing.  Shoes need to go with work attire too?”

My answer: Luckily for everyone, whether you are wearing a tutu, a sparkly dress, a smart skirt and shirt, a pair of jeans or gym kit, a trend that is still going strong and has been around for a while now is wearing sneakers or retro trainers with anything, aka Sport Luxe. From old school Nike’s and Adidas, to New Balance, Vans (or any slip on’s alike), Superga’s, Converse, Ash or any other trainer/sneaker/kicks of your choice.
