Its always around this time of year (or sometimes earlier) that we start discussing where to go for our summer holidays. It used to be quite easy but now with a little one its definitely changed things drastically. We have to think of child friendly locations, time zones, flight duration, disease contracting areas (e.g Malaria) and so on…
We will be starting off this year by going somewhere very local. We can drive, we will be in the same time zone and we can take along our home comforts. Norfolk. Well its not local as such to London but it’s in the UK. We have booked in here at The Wiverton Bell. It looks deliciously cosy and homely and I’m super excited! Norfolk has the most beautiful coastline, you would never think you were in the UK if the weather is kind to you 😉
Further afield, other coastal destinations which we have been longing to get to are Sri Lanka and Tulum in Mexico (the latter is actually more me). My husband is already heading to Montana in August so I doubt we will get in two US trips this year. In fact we definitely will not, so there goes my destination vacation but we hoping to squeeze in a Europe trip. We both fell in love with Ibiza last year but we will probably try something new, although I could easily make it an annual holiday.

Below are our a couple of holiday pics from some of the Coastal getaways we have been to over the last couple of years.

If you ever get a chance to visit South Africa, make sure you get to the Eastern Cape for all its beauty. The best way to get there is to fly to Cape Town and take a drive through the scenic route known as the Garden Route.
Happy Holiday booking 🙂

We have just spent Easter weekend with sunny weather at Kleinemonde and it was funtastic except for our Carloni family that we missed so much. Oliver’s cousins missed him very much having got used to having him around at Christmas time.
