Rainy Days

Yes that’s correct, the topic is rainy days. And yes I have arrived in South Africa…. We are thrilled to be here and see our family again however there is one “but”…..its raining cats and dogs! I simply couldnt believe it, all I have been hearing for the last three months since our last visit is how beautiful the weather has been, my mom telling me how gorgeous our sparkling pool is looking and its calling for us, and we couldn’t wait to escape the UK rain.  The irony is, in London this weekend the temperature has reached 16 degrees and is beautifully sunny and warm and here in South Africa we are wearing jeans and jackets in the pouring rain.  Did I pack correctly? Of course not.  Anyway it is still summer, its not cold and its definitely going to clear this week at some point (fingers and toes crossed).

So if it is raining wherever you are in the world, here is some rainy weather wear for inspiration.

  1. Hi Nix, when do you get to SA? Where are you going to be? If you are in the eastern cape, I am still here, Becca still isn’t right. Maybe I could hire you to do a personal shopping for me? Would you be happy to do it in SA? Or would you like to just chat and browse and maybe still buy in the UK? Then I can just courier it to SA? Let me know!
